Reading Steps offers a unique product that focuses on reading engagement and reading for pleasure.
Our product enables children and schools to track and monitor reading habits and preferences, whilst also offering suggestions for children and staff to build their knowledge of texts, authors and genres. Our product is a sustainable alternative to the traditional reading log book at the same cost (less in some cases) with far greater capability.
Reading Steps uses AI intelligently to produce suggestions as well as reading age tests so that children are reading appropriately levelled texts to enable accelerated progress and better attainment.
School leaders are able to accurately and tangibly measure reading habits, preferences, views and engagement which can be used for school development and inspection discussions.
The insight gained by school leaders will enable them to identify children or groups of children to intervene with and also highlight genres, authors and titles so that they can ensure children’s interests are being catered for and that children are able to read widely.
The library feature enables schools to input available books in their school meaning this product is really personalised to each establishment.
